Advantages of Premise Based IP-PBX

As VoIP gains a stronghold in the business phone sector, there are a number of options available for the end user. As a user, the choice that you have to make depends upon your budget and your needs. 

Determining Your Requirements
As a first step ask yourself some questions. How many phones do you need now and, in say, 12 months?  Do you need call center features? Once you have these listed, you will be able to determine what makes the most sense for your company.

Features & Advantages of On-Premise IP-PBX
If your requirements are large and growing, On-Premise systems such as IPedge or Strata CIX deliver great value.  IPedge comes in a small server package that can be networked to handle 1000s of pure IP calls. Similarly, Strata CIX is a hybrid system that can work on both IP and PSTN trunks.

When you install these applications, your smart phone becomes a full-fledged VoIP end point. You can use it like an IP phone with all the features and capabilities. 

Voice Mail To Email: If you are not able to answer a call for some reason, there is no reason to fret. The system can convert your missed call into an email and send it to you. You can either send an email to the caller, or return his call and speak to him.

Conference Bridge: When you need to have a conference, you can setup a bridge and invite your colleagues and others into the call. Sometimes a detailed discussion with all participants resolves issues quickly. 

Remote Office: All you need to set up a remote office is an Internet connection there. That point becomes an extension to your VoIP system. 

Computer Integration: IPedge and  Strata CIX can be integrated with your computerized applications such as CRM. With this, you get Unified Communications that will take you to a different level of communications with instant messaging, sharing of files, message broadcast, presence, and a host of other features. 

PC Simulation:  We also offer software on PC and laptops that can convert them to end points. That way you can use your desk top or laptop as sophisticated end points. 

Automatic Call Distribution: Our Media Application Server combines call reporting, Call Management, voice mail, and other Computer Telephony Integration. ACD advanced call routing based on Caller ID, account numbers and other parameters. Routing can also be skill based and on priority.  

Direct Inward Dial: Every end point can be assigned a number of an ID. When this is done, a caller can land at your end point directly. 

Supervisor Console: The supervisor console is advanced browser based and gives you complete control of all the VoIP functions. 

Advanced Call Reporting: At the end of the day you can get detailed reporting on calls, how they were answered, who answered them and other details. These reports help you set up a robust call management system.
