Toshiba Tips: How to Change Our Voicemail Your Main Greeting

10/25/2012

  1. Log into the Main Mailbox
    1. Dial INT/DN + 400 (or 40 if using 2-digit extension numbers)
    2. Dial *, then 991, and then #
    3. Enter the password (If you don't know it just contact us and we can help)
  1. You will get to the Main Menu. Choose  option 3 to Manage the Mailbox
  2. In the Manage Mailbox menu, choose option 1 to change the Greeting
  3. Choose the number of the greeting you wish to change
    1. There are up to 7 greetings available.
    2. Standard practice is for Greeting 1 to be the Day Greeting and Greeting 2 to be the Night greeting
  4. Once you’ve chosen which greeting you want to record, choose option 2 to Record the greeting. Press # when finished
  5. You can choose to review the greeting you just recorded by selecting Option1 when prompted
  6. When you are ready to save the greeting, press Option 9
  7. The system will use the greeting you last saved to be the greeting that will pickup if someone leaves you a message. So, if you changed your Night Greeting (2) during the day, but still want you Day Greeting (1) to answer, then do the following:
    1. Select Greeting #1 from the Change Greeting Menu and then press 9 to save it. Now your Day Greeting was the last one saved and will be the one to pickup when a message is left.

I have a Toshiba DP5032-SD. We can't seem to find out how to erase a list that is on the main greeting. i have gone thru all of the steps that i can. i enter voice main change greeting. save the greeting i would like. then when i call in and listen the greeting. it sounds fine but all of a sudden at the end there is a LIST of Wrong Extension Recorded by a former employee. Don't know how to get that part of the greeting to be gone?
